Patrick Potter

Patrick is an Associate Director with Protiviti, a global risk consulting and internal audit firm. Prior to Protiviti, Patrick held executive positions at American Express and Avnet in Internal Audit and Technologies organizations. Patrick has over 18 years experience implementing and leading programs and initiatives in risk management, internal audit, Business Continuity Management (BCM), process reengineering and IT. He also has worked closely with senior executives, Boards of Directors and Audit Committees at a wide array of organizations. Patrick has led Sarbanes-Oxley reviews across publicly-traded and privately held companies in travel, education, manufacturing, healthcare, media, and hospitality industries. He has also led such key programs and initiatives as strategic planning, Activity Based Costing, Six Sigma process improvement, employee reward and recognition programs and performance benchmarking. Patrick holds a BS in Accounting from Northern Arizona University, an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and holds the CISA and Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) certifications.
